Decree 218

New laws in Andalucia have changed the way we can market your property and have created a new set of requirements for vendors to provide.   Decree218 (akin to HIPS in the United Kingdom) is unique to Andalucia and is not universal across other Autonomous Regions of Spain.  Decree 218 is designed to offer transparency and consumer protection. There is a heavy emphasis on protecting the buyer however, it should be noted that it is also to protect you the vendor.

Failure to provide the information required will mean that we can not list your property as heavy penalties are imposed on both Estate Agents and vendors that fail to comply. The repercussions of not adhering to this law can leave both the agent and the vendor with huge fines totaling as much as the value of the property.
